Where: Griffith – This years event will lead it’s parade lap from Coolah Street to Benerembah Circle, then travel East down Banna Avenue

Cost:  Entrants cost: $50 for cars and $30 for bikes

Street Machine Nationals
50th Anniversary

Many consider the first Street Machine Nationals in Griffith over the 1975 Easter long weekend to be the birth of street machining here in Australia.

With 2025 marking the 50th anniversary of this formative event, the organisers of Griffith’s Biggest Lap charity event have invited a select group of legendary street machines and notable personalities to headline this year’s Lap on the weekend of 4-5 October.

2025 Event Info for Spectators

 

The Lap is shaping up as our best one yet, and there are plenty of public parking spaces in Yambil Street & Railway Street.

Please give generously to our many volunteers who will be circulating down Banna Avenue.

Find your vantage spot up the Main on Saturday and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells as some 500 classic, muscle, vintage and veteran cars roar past.

2025 Event Info for Entrants

Over the years the event has seen increasing numbers of entrants, and we will again be capping registrations to a total of 500 vehicles.

  1. You can purchase a ticket either before the event here or in person at Whipps Industries or Repco Griffith.
  2. If you have purchased prior to the event, either online or at a pre-registration day, please print out your entry ticket and ensure you are driving the vehicle with the registration details you filled in when purchasing your entry, please have your QR code ready for scanning upon entering the marshalling area.
  3. As you enter the marshalling area, our staff will check your ticket and give you your sticker. Place the sticker on the front windscreen of your vehicle. Only vehicles that display the sticker gain entry to the event.You will need to attend driver
  4. briefing around 5:40pm at the registration tent located midway on Coolah Street

The Biggest Lap is due to commence at 6pm!
