The Noosa Concours d’Elegance is where automotive passion meets pure artistry. For one day, Hastings Street sheds its coastal calm and becomes a living gallery of rolling mechanical perfection—fifty of the finest machines ever built, brought together not just for display, but for appreciation.
This isn’t about transport. It’s about legacy. It’s about the hours in the garage chasing perfection, the pursuit of originality or the bravery to redefine it. Each car on display carries a story—of craftsmanship, engineering excellence, and the people who have chosen to preserve and celebrate something greater than themselves.
From hand-built classics that shaped generations, to modern icons that redefine performance and luxury, the Noosa Concours brings together vehicles that stop people in their tracks. Cars that make you slow down, lean in, and admire the details—the stitching, the metalwork, the stance, the intent.
Renowned judges and respected voices from the automotive world will walk the street, not just scoring cars, but recognising the dedication behind them. Owners and collectors travel from across the country to be part of something that understands what these machines truly mean.

Like many aspects of automobile culture, the term originated in France and translates to “competition of elegance”, which fits given these events are the absolute top of the pops for collector cars. However, the name runs back in history far earlier than Veteran or Vintage cars.
Way back in the 1800s wealthy Parisians would parade their horse-drawn carriages in parks, and this eventually grew into a competition. Today, concours are held all over the world, normally in glamorous locations, by clubs and organisations wanting to showcase the most collectable, special, valuable and historically significant cars.
The oldest Concours d’Elegance is held at Villa d’Este on Lake Como, having first been run in 1929. However, the most famous is held at the Pebble Beach golf course in Carmel, California, and kicked off in 1950.
Australia hosts several Concours d’Elegance and the Noosa Concours has very quickly set the benchmark with the quality of vehicles on display and the ferocious commitment to continually improve and strive for perfection as the best Concours in Australia.
The R33 GT-R Le Mans Edition is a rare and highly collectible version of Nissan’s Skyline GT-R, built to commemorate Nissan’s participation in the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans with the GT-R LM race car.
Only one road-going unit was sold exclusively in Japan, this special edition stood out with its exclusive Champion Blue paint, the same colour worn by the Le Mans race car. It also featured a carbon-fiber rear wing blade, unique badging and subtle upgrades that set it apart from the standard R33 GT-R V-Spec on which it was based.
Mechanically, it retained the iconic RB26DETT, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and ATTESA all-wheel-drive system with Active LSD. While performance upgrades were minimal from the factory, many owners opted to fit NISMO enhancement parts over time.
Today, the R33 GT-R Le Mans Edition is regarded as one of the most rare and desirable variants in the R33 GT-R lineup, cherished for its very limited production and motorsport connection.
Traditionally a Concours d’Elegance will draw in the most expensive, rarest, most highly-restored and provenance-rich cars in the general vicinity, with the biggest events (like Pebble Beach in California) attracting cars from all over the globe. Typically vehicles will be divided into age-based eras and then split between road, concept and race disciplines.
These shows are your chance to get up close with some of the greatest cars ever built. The Noosa Concours hosted such luminaries as a Bugatti 57C, Porsche 2.7 RS Carrera, Mercedes 540k, Pagani Zonda Roadster, Ferrari 250 Lusso and more!
Originally the domain of pre-World War II Edwardian, Veteran, and Vintage cars concours have expanded to include classics from the 40s-70s, with some hosting classes for post-modern classics of the 80s and 90s, as well as contemporary exotic cars.
