Enthusiast Competition Terms and Conditions

A) The Promotion
MOTOREX CHALLANGE MELBOURNE’2024

1. Answer the question what “was the top speed of the 34 ford from factory??” for your chance to WIN Enthusiast prizes valued over AUD$800.00 (the “Promotion”).

B) Information

1. Information on how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Competition entry on the Enthusiast website constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Promoter is Enthusiast Underwriting Pty Ltd, of Level 4, 45 Clarence St, Sydney, New South Wales 2000, Australia (ABN 35 142 206 746) (the “Promoter”).
3. All times stipulated in the Terms and Conditions are based on New South Wales, Australia local time.
4. People who enter the Promotion are “Entrants”.

C) Eligibility and Entry Requirements

1. Entry to the Promotion is open to Australian residents eighteen (18) years of age and over.
2. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter the Promotion.
3. Entry to the Promotion is free and no purchase is necessary.
4. Entry is open to Entrants residing in Australia only, with an Australian delivery address.

D) Promotional Period

1. The Promotion commences at 9:00AM (AEST) on 04 May 2024 and final entries end at 2:45pm (AEST) on 05 May 2024.

E) Entry Mechanics

1. Entrants will need to enter the Promotion at the Enthusiast Motor Insurance Meguiar’s Motorex Stand. Please see website T & C details here: https://www.enthusiast.com.au/motorex/competition-terms-conditions Entrants will need to complete their name, email address, contact number, and their answer, on the provided card at the Enthusiast Motor Insurance Stand at Meguiar’s Motorex 2024 to enter.
2. Entrants are required to agree to these Terms and Conditions for entry to be valid.
3. Incomplete, indecipherable, or ineligible entries will be invalid.

F) Prizes

1. For Enthusiast promotions directly on the website at https://www.enthusiast.com.au/motorex/competition-terms-conditions, there will be four individual (4) prizes for the nominated winners; being (4) AUD200.00 1/2” Kinchrome Torque Wrenches 40-200 nm K8501. The total prize pool is in the amount AUD800, inclusive of GST.
2. The provisional winner will be notified via phone or email.
3. A provisional winner will only be deemed a winner once verified by the Promoter.
4. The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs associated with the prize after delivery.
5. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any Entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for the liability that cannot be excluded by law.

G) Competition Judging

1. The Promotion is a game of skill and the winners will be selected based on their correct entries.
2. There will be four (4) winners, chosen based on their entries.
3. The draw will take place at the Meguiar’s Motorex Event at Enthusiast Motor Insurance stand at Melbourne Showgrounds, Epsom Road, Ascot Vale VIC 3032, Australia on 04 May 2024 3:00PM (AEST) & 05 May 2024 3:00PM (AEST).
4. The Promoter reserves the right to draw reserves in case of an invalid entry or invalid Entrant.

H) How the Winner Will Be Notified

1. The winner will be notified by phone or email on the day the draw takes place on 04 May 2024 and 05 May 2043 as indicated in Section D “Promotional Period: Start and End Dates” above.
2. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the chosen winner within three (3) working days after the winner’s entry is drawn, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize, at which time the Promoter will select the next best entry to be the winner of the competition. This judging will take place at the Meguiar’s Motorex Event at Enthusiast Motor Insurance stand at Melbourne Showgrounds, Epsom Road, Ascot Vale VIC 3032, Australia on 04 May 2024 3:00PM (AEST) & 05 May 2024 3:00PM (AEST)
3. The Promoter will conduct an unclaimed prize draw (if required) at the same place as the original draw at the time and on the date indicated to award the prize(s).
4. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotor’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

I) Data Protection and Publicity

1. All entries must be original and will become the property of the Promoter upon submission. The Entrants name and entry may be used for any future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide.
2. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the Entrant’s name and entries in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. The Promoter does not take responsibility for any costs associated with entering and/or accessing the Promotion including internet service provider costs.
5. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the Promotion or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
6. The Promoter may, in its discretion, cancel the Promotion at any time.
7. In order to conduct this Promotion, the Promoter needs to collect personal information about each Entrant and may for this purpose. Participation in the Promotion is conditional on providing this information.
8. Collection, use and disclosure of information collected by the Promoter in connection with this Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promotor’s Privacy Policy, available here: https://www.enthusiast.com.au/important-info/privacy-policy

J) Governing Law

1. All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Entrants to the Promotion submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.The Promoter reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions occasionally, and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
